Compliance Coordinator

Do you want to join a dynamic and customer-oriented team that ensures the safety and comfort of our customers? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Compliance Coordinator role! We’re on the lookout for a superstar to join the team for a period of 12 months.

As a Compliance Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for managing and monitoring work that ensures properties comply with statutory and legal repair requirements including gas, electrical compliance and of Damp, Mould and Condensation remedial work in line with the relevant regulations and standards. You’ll also provide high-quality administrative support to the whole Repairs team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of your work.

What will you be doing?

You’ll trigger all Gas and Electrical compliance checks according to the required schedule, while monitoring queries in relation to safety check and compliance, you’ll take ownership of your tasks to ensure compliance and ensure compliance reporting is completed and up to date. You’ll track the progress of compliance checks, and repairs that have a compliance requirement from scheduling through to completion. Where works are not completed or may slip from required timescales, you’ll escalate toother teams to find solutions to ensure compliance.   You will work closely with the Repair Coordinators and Resource Planners to achieve successful outcomes for the customer and meet safety requirements,  

You’ll monitor, log and action follow-up work as identified by Gas and Electrical operatives, maintaining a tracker of all Gas and Electrical compliance works, you’ll ensure information is kept up to date and accurate to provide clear visibility of all compliance works and an audit trail for the organisation. You’ll store all related documentation in a central database. 

Proactively manage the ‘no access’ procedure for scheduled customer compliance checks, liaising with other teams as appropriate and track the appropriate actions, including supporting on evidence packs. You’ll follow existing and new processes and ensure these are followed and escalate any issues is necessary, with the customer’s safety being the priority of what you do.

  • customer focused and will act in the customer’s best interest at all times. 
  • passionate about the importance of following Gas and Electrical compliance and regulation and has worked in a similar regulatory environment. 
  • committed to ensuring the safety of each and every customer.
  • Understands Housing compliance in the wider sense incorporating changing legislation around Damp Mould and Condensation 
  • Experienced at using Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel skills. 
  • diligent and with an attention to detail and understand the importance of accuracy. 
  • Process and procedure driven.
  • Experienced in a similar administrative compliance role or similar regulatory administration. 
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities at once and manage time effectively.
  • Approachable, reliable and committed to providing a great service. 
  • A great communicator with the ability to lipase with multiple teams and customers to provide guidance advice, support and challenge.

 

We offer an excellent salary of £29,567.63 for a 35-hour working week, 25 days annual leave plus public holidays.
