Trades Compliance Administrator

Job Introduction

Here at Yorkshire Housing, we've got a cracking opportunity for a dedicated and friendly Compliance Administrator to join our team. If you’re someone who likes to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in, this could be just the job for you. You’ll be helping us make sure we’re meeting our PFI compliance standards, all while delivering top-notch service to our wonderful customers.

What you’ll be doing

As a Compliance Administrator, you’ll play a key part in planning, scheduling, and monitoring of PFI works. You'll make sure everything’s done by the book – meeting all policies, procedures, and legislations. You’ll keep our customers and stakeholders well looked after, using your excellent people skills to handle any tricky situations and help customers understand the need for important compliance works and repairs. You’ll deliver vital administrative support, process and raise orders, arranging customer appointments, and ensuring that contract information is up-to-date. You‘ll liaise directly with contractors, LCC compliance and housing colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the compliance process and producing correspondence, schedules, reports and spreadsheets  – you’ll be the one making sure all the details are spot on! You’ll also take responsibility for monitoring the compliance inbox, taking ownership of your tasks to ensure compliance and reporting is where it needs to be.

Sounds good right? Here’s what we need from you

Based at Swarcliffe Neighbourhood Office, we’re after someone who can work independently but really thrives as part of a team. You’ll be the sort of person with an eagle eye for detail, great at problem-solving and the ability to keep our customers at the heart of everything you do. You’ll have experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and have a passion most of all for giving our customers the best experience possible!

You’ll be assisting in planning, coordinating, and tracking compliance works (e.g. Gas Safety checks, fixed wire testing, unvented cylinder checks, solid fuel and oil checks, PAT testing, Fire and Smoke Alarm checks) so it’d be great if you had experience in these areas. Don’t worry if you're not an expert yet, we’ll support you all the way. Want to know more? You’ll find loads of handy information in the attached role profile.

What’s in it for you?

In return, we offer a salary of £28,776.00 per annum for a 35-hour week, plus 25 days holiday (rising to 30 days the longer you’re with us), plus Bank Holidays. We’ve also got a fab rewards package that looks after our people. With the way things are these days, we know how important it is to have financial peace of mind. You can claim back money for prescriptions, eye tests, and more through our cash plan, get great discounts at a range of retailers, and you can make the most of our pension scheme, where we’ll match your contributions up to 9%.

Most of all your health and wellbeing are at the top of our list. That’s why we offer a fantastic wellbeing support package, including access to Perkbox’ Wellness Hub, a My GP service and free counselling with Health Assured.
