What you’ll be doing

  • Delivering tailored tenancy support to existing and future customers, helping them develop the skills and confidence to maintain their homes.
  • Working with customers to set achievable, goal-focused plans that promote independence and wellbeing.
  • Providing expert advice, information, and signposting to ensure customers have everything they need for a successful tenancy.
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to deliver the very best service.
  • Acting as an ambassador for Yorkshire Housing, raising the profile of our Tenancy Coaching service across the organisation and beyond.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in social housing and/or support sectors, with a passion for doing the right thing for customers.
  • A good understanding of the challenges faced by at-risk customers and the barriers to tenancy sustainment.
  • Knowledge of welfare benefits, budgeting, safeguarding, and employment pathways.
  • Excellent communication, advocacy, and negotiation skills.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and able to work flexibly—whether you’re in the hub, at home, or out and about.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car for business use.

Bonus points if you have:

  • A Level 3 (or above) Certificate in Housing
  • Coaching qualifications or experience
  • Skills or training in counselling or mediation

This a full-time (35 hours per week) permanent opportunity with a salary of £34,972.21 plus £2,000 car allowance per annum, for a 35 hour week plus 26 days annual leave (rising annually to 30 days) plus Bank Holidays.
