Job Introduction
Brand new role alert!
As we move forward with our journey to net zero, we need a passionate individual to join us in helping us take our customers on that journey too.
So we’re seeking a Sustainability Liaison Officer to join our Asset Management team, who will play a crucial role in engaging our stakeholders and customers on this exciting path.
As we push forward our decarbonisation plans, and develop a sustainable portfolio of properties that are fit for the future, we need our customers to understand our approach and be ready for the changes that are to come. So you’ll be at the heart of engaging and communicating with them about retrofit works, and gathering important data along the way.
As someone with a passion for addressing environmental concerns, and communicating complex issues effectively, this will be a fantastic opportunity to join us at a time that really matters, and truly make a difference.
We’re looking for someone who is keen to get out and about to meet our customers throughout the Yorkshire region.
We believe work is something you do, not somewhere you go so if you want to work for a company who are truly flexible and where you are valued then this could be the role for you!

What you’ll be getting up to
Your days will be varied, with the focus on providing training, engagement and raising awareness around energy efficiency, innovative technologies and retrofit works.
You’ll be putting customers at the heart of our energy efficiency improvement project, creating trust, and providing reassurance, so that energy efficiency becomes an easy choice for our customers.
You’ll be developing customer guides and support in a variety of mediums to reach as many customers as possible and to ensure ongoing support.
Sometimes there might be intervention measures needed, so you’ll be able to identify them and put plans in place to ensure the success of works such as onsite smart technology and data.
Being customer obsessed, you’ll attend workshops and committee meetings to support customers when it comes to contract delivery, answering questions and addressing any concerns, and providing energy efficiency and behavioural advice to help customers manage their energy consumption.
Training and awareness is vital, so you’ll provide workshops to inform both customers and colleagues around decarbonisation and the climate crisis.
Working with the Sustainability Lead, you’ll help maintain strategic partnerships with organisations that are influential in our business objectives, and you’ll also help support any funding opportunities.
