Join us as a Processing Compliance Officer and become an essential part of maintaining financial integrity and ensuring regulatory compliance across Yorkshire Housing. In this role you’ll drive improvements in data management, governance and reporting, whilst supporting both transformational projects and day-to-day operations.

What will you be doing?
Reporting into our Finance Transformation Lead, you’ll initially be working on the Finance Transformation Project. You’ll also be working closely with our internal teams to document and implement robust financial controls and compliance protocols. You'll also support the testing and validation of finance systems to ensure functionality during transformation initiatives, while identifying and addressing any financial data discrepancies to ensure full compliance with internal policies and regulations.
You’ll be assisting in configuring and refining financial data structures to meet evolving business needs and also perform data analysis, cleansing, and validation to enhance financial reporting and inform strategic decision-making.

- Strong understanding of finance systems, data management, and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with financial data, including extracting, cleansing, and analysing it.
- Excellent at problem-solving and paying attention to detail to catch and fix data issues.
- Able to work well with different teams and stakeholders across the business.
- Great communication skills, with the ability to break down technical concepts for non-technical colleagues.
- Experience with process improvements, financial compliance, and data governance.
- Good knowledge of financial regulations and best practices in data governance and compliance.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

This a full-time permanent role with a salary of £32,646.25 per annum, for a 35 hour week plus 25 days annual leave (rising annually to 30 days) plus Bank Holidays.
