We’re on the lookout for a Place Strategy Officer to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract, we’re after someone who has a practical understanding of operational housing delivery, a broad knowledge of the housing sector including TSM’s and has a passion for using intelligence and data to deliver tangible solutions that deliver greater customer satisfaction.
We want someone who is innovative, a natural collaborator, who seeks best practice and where it doesn’t yet exist, develops and delivers it in partnership. Someone who is customer obsessed and understands how vital an intelligence led approach is to being pre-emptive and providing the very best services to our customers.

We need a Place Strategy Officer to provide intelligence gathering, analysis, reporting and insight to improve our customer satisfaction levels and really make a difference in our communities. Here’s an insight on what you’ll get up to:

Here’s what we need from you…
You’ll have already worked in a data analysis role with, experience of manipulating data in a relevant data analysis tool (for example Microsoft Excel, including creating pivot tables, writing look-up formulae, etc).
What’s important is that you will #becurious (which is one of our values!), you’ll be inquisitive and manipulate data from different data sources and will proactively collaborate both internally and externally to provide innovative data insight.
Your knowledge of tenancy management and data quality will enable you to test and challenge the data in front of you and anticipate the business needs. You’ll paint a data picture that will proactively form the questions being asked rather than just simply answering data questions from the business.
You’ll have experience in presenting data at a strategic level, writing reports, but also help drive a more intelligence driven culture.

In return, we are offering a salary of £38,797.91 (per annum) for a 35-hour week, 25 days annual leave (raising annually to 30 days) plus Bank Holidays.

This is an agile homeworking position, and although you will predominantly be working from home, you’ll be comfortable travelling to and within Yorkshire as required for the role for example to attend meetings at a hub.
