We’re on the hunt for our next bank of multiskilled superstars to work in our Damp and Mould Team, you'll be a key part of YH’s strategic priority of tackling disrepair and Damp and Mould. You'll work as part of a dedicated team ensuring a customer obsessed experience. This will include joinery, plumbing, general property repairs and building work.

How much?
The salary is for a 37.5-hour week £17.39 per hour that’s £33,918.98 per annum.
What’s in it for me?

When?
You’ll work a 37.5 hour week (that’s 7.5 hour days), between 8am and 8pm but we can be flexible with this.
We do have to look after our customers 24/7, so you’ll be expected to cover a call out service, but don’t worry, there are lots of willing folk helping out, so the rota is flexible and given in advance notice so you can plan around this (you’ll get paid if you attend a call out too!)
Where?
Your primary location will be across West Yorkshire, but you may need to travel across the whole of Yorkshire as required.

Who are we looking for ?
We’re looking for multiskilled plumbers and ideally, we are looking for people who can hit the ground running, so you’ll have worked in similar repairs and maintenance roles specifically focusing on dealing with plumbing issues related to damp, mould and condensation, great if they have been within social housing, but certainly not a deal breaker! We really just want the skills you can bring to our teams.
You’ll enjoy interacting with our customers and providing a great service. It’s really important to us that our workforce reflect the diverse communities we serve and are committed to building an inclusive workplace, we welcome applications from all parts of the community.
You’ll have a focus on effective solutions and work with customers and other experts such as surveyors to ensure the causes of damp and mould are investigated and addressed at a property. You’ll be relentless in ensuring our customers are satisfied, feel listened to and provide confidence where Damp and Mould or disrepair has occurred that the problem has been solved.

You must hold a full UK driving license for this role, and a basic DBS check will be required if successful.
