Are you looking to kickstart your career as a Gas Engineer?  

We have a fantastic opportunity for friendly, customer-focussed apprentice to join our amazing Gas team in York. From day one you’ll be getting stuck in with the service and repairs of gas boilers and heating systems, learning from an experienced team every step of the way!

We offer a salary of £14,995 per annum for a 37.5 hours per week, 25 days annual leave (rising annually to 30 days) plus Bank Holidays.

What will I be doing? 

You’ll work alongside a fab team of experienced gas professionals, carrying out servicing and repairs, learning every day to become a fully qualified Gas engineer. You’ll be working in our properties, meeting new people and learning how to provide the best customer service for our wonderful tenants!   

On top of this you’ll be attending college either on day or block release, ensuring that all of your assignments and assessments are completed as you work towards your Level 3 Gas qualification.

What you’ll bring to the role: 

• GCSE Grade C/Level 4 or above in Maths, English and Science 
• A passion for learning and growing your career in Gas (work experience in a similar role is a bonus but not essential!) 
• Good practical skills with a methodical approach to work 
• Driven and self-motivated  
• Passionate about doing the right thing, not the easy thing 
• Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines  
• Excellent teamwork skills 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The fine print
