Fleet Coordinator – Join Our Team!

We're on the lookout for a Part Time Fleet Coordinator to help manage our fleet services. This role is perfect for someone who loves a bit of variety and is keen to make sure our fleet runs like clockwork.
In this role, you’ll be looking after both our owned and grey fleet compliance, keeping an eye on driver performance, and ensuring vehicles stay in tip-top shape. You'll get stuck in with everything from accident investigations and liaising with suppliers to ensuring we’re fully compliant with all the necessary regulations. You’ll work closely with the Fleet Manager and other Fleet Coordinator as well as teams across the business to make sure everything’s running smoothly and our customers are getting the best service.
You’ll also be responsible for making sure our vehicles are always ready for action – keeping on top of maintenance, MOTs, and making sure all paperwork (insurance, road fund license, etc.) is up to date for the fleet of roughly 300 vans. Plus, you’ll manage our Grey Fleet database, making sure everyone is compliant and reporting any issues to the team.
We're looking for someone with good experience in fleet management, solid communication skills, and the ability to juggle a few things at once. A full UK driving licence is essential, as site visits will be necessary on occasions to visit Yorkshire Housing depots or suppliers along with the other members of the fleet team. While we’re not expecting you to know everything, we’d love someone who’s keen to learn and grow with us. You'll also need to be flexible, adapting to changes and new challenges as they come up.
This is a part-time, permanent opportunity with a salary of £15,109.06 plus £1,000 car allowance for a 17.5-hour week plus 13 days annual leave (rising annually to 15.5 days) plus Bank Holidays.
