Job Introduction

We’re on the lookout for our new Commercial Assets Property Expert, who will play a key role in managing our commercial assets and external management company (EMC) relationships

You’ll play a vital role creating trusted partnerships, both internally and externally, and use your keen interest in details to actively manage asset information, supporting the delivery of our asset management strategy. 

 

What you’ll be getting up to

Reporting to our Commercial Assets Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to join us at an exciting time, and be part of our supportive and pro-active teams who get stuff done! 

A managed caseload will keep your days varied, and you’ll be in touch with customers keeping them up to date, and sometimes managing disputes.

We need someone who is able to ensure consistency, and who is confident communicating with key stakeholders. You will be part of a supportive team and will represent them to other areas of the business. 

As an expert in your field, you’ll understand leases, legal documents and management agreements, and will be adept at picking out the details to communicate them across the business. Attention to detail is your thing!

  • The ability to build a trusting relationship with customers, colleagues and partner organisations. 
  • Have a problem-solving mindset and take ownership for resolving queries.
  • Be able to deliver complex and often complicated messages to colleagues across the business without diluting their important meaning.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure, deliver to strict deadlines and manage conflicting priorities and cases.
  • Ability to gather, record, understand, and analyse data, using manual and electronic systems including Microsoft packages, including being comfortable and confident using Microsoft Excel to at least an intermediate level.
  • Organised and self-motivated. Adaptable to a changing and varied workload and able to plan and deliver to agreed timescales, goals and priorities.
  • A full UK driving license, the ability to drive and access to a car for business purposes.

It would be a bonus if you have:

  • Knowledge of leasehold legislation, regulatory framework, management of leases
  • Experience of managing agency/management company services
  • An knowledge of operating and managing service charges
  • Experience of Public Realm Management

In return,  we offer a salary of £35,315.70 plus a £2,000 car allowance per annum - for 35 hours per week, 25 days annual leave (rising annually to 30 days) plus Bank Holidays
