What will I be doing? 

Reporting into the Head of Treasury and Financial Planning you’ll take ownership of Yorkshire Housing’s 30-year financial plan, a critical document that guides our growth and strategic direction. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the organisation, ensuring our financial performance and liquidity position are accurately forecasted and reported. We’ve broken down some key responsibilities here:

Develop and Manage the 30-Year Financial Plan: Own and update Yorkshire Housing’s long-term financial plan, ensuring it aligns with the organisation's growth and strategic goals.

Financial Analysis and Insights: Provide insightful analysis to the Treasury Team, Finance Team, and wider business to facilitate effective decision-making. Your insights will be crucial in optimising our financial strategies.

Financial Modelling and Scenario Planning: Undertake comprehensive financial modelling, scenario planning, and option appraisal to support business performance improvements and strategic decision-making.

Support Treasury Strategy: Assist the Head of Treasury in delivering the Group’s Treasury Strategy, ensuring financial health and resilience.

Cross-team Collaboration: Liaise closely with the Treasury Analyst to ensure ongoing cash flow forecasting aligns with the 30-year plan. Identify and investigate variances to maintain financial integrity.

What do you need from me?

Professional Accounting Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.

Financial Planning Experience: Demonstrable experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a similar role.

Communication: Exceptional ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.

Analytical and Problem-solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to solve complex financial problems and provide actionable insights.

Influence and Negotiation: Ability to influence, negotiate, and challenge assumptions effectively.

Stakeholder Relationship Building: Proven track record of building and maintaining successful relationships with senior stakeholders.

This a full-time permanent role with a salary of £53,319 per annum 25 days annual leave (rising annually to 30 days) plus Bank Holidays.
