Job Introduction

Do you want to play a key part in shaping our future by helping to deliver our business strategy? Well we’re on the lookout for a dynamic and innovative professional to join us as our new Board Member. This is a great opportunity to join us on our journey to being the UKs best housing provider.

What you’ll be doing? 

This role sits on our YHL board who are responsible for ensuring the success of Yorkshire Housing through delivery of our business strategy. You’ll work closely with other board members and stakeholders to drive the key strategies and objectives and ensure they’re delivered. 

You’ll use your excellent communication and leadership skills to drive organisational performance and ensure we’re compliant in line with our legal and regulatory obligations.

The Stuff that sets you apart:

We’re looking for someone with experience in housing, asset management, customers, health and safety or tenancy sustainment. Understanding of the housing sector would also be great. 

But if you have a passion for social purpose and really want to make a difference then we want to hear from you!

The time commitment for the role is approx. 2 days per month, with a salary of £11,250.
